Heather Stevens
REALTOR, SRS, ALHS
Heather Stevens originally hails from Monroe, Louisiana, and graduated from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has practiced Dental Hygienist for 12 yrs and in 2011 she moved to Texas. She now considers herself an adopted Texan.
She has 2 children, Ava and Drew and has been married to her husband and best friend Mark for 17 years! But what's a family without the pets? The Stevens family has 2 dogs: Princess and Molly, and they are more like children at this point.
When Heather isn't closing deals she loves Strength Training and Hot Yoga and when she travels you might find her on the beach! Heather is also a local volunteer at her church where she loves to sing. You might even find her belting out a Whitney Houston tune for Karaoke, and she may or may not have tried out for American Idol at one point.
All in all, Heather is outgoing, enthusiastic and if you're working with her, you are guaranteed to have an amazing experience. She goes above and beyond for all of her clients and she puts passion and energy into every client she works with!

1. GET PREAPPROVED FOR A HOME LOAN
A pre-approval is your permission slip to start looking for homes. It allows you to know what payment you will be comfortable in and gives you peace of mind. We can arrange for you to work with our preferred lender right away.

2. THE SEARCH
We are like matchmakers, finding the right partner for you. Tell us what you like and let us match you up with a location and home you will fall in love with!

3. THE ONE
Once you select a home we will run a detailed pricing comparison of past solds in the neighborhood and advise you of a reasonable offer price. Once you agree on an offer price we will negotiate the offer on your behalf.
You will write two checks to submit with your offer:

4. THE INSPECTION
Once we have negotiated and executed an agreement we will then enter the option period and you will schedule your home inspections immediately.
What we discover during the inspection period can most of the time be negotiated with the seller.
5. CLOSING: APPRAISAL AND LOAN APPROVAL
After we have moved forward past the option period you will continue to work with your lender to obtain final approval. Once the home meets the appraisal and your loan is approved we are onto closing.
6. THE APPROVAL

7. CLOSING: TRANSACTION COORDINATOR
To streamline the closing process our Transaction Coordinator will work closely with you and the title company to ensure we have a streamlined closing. This ensures that all the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted in your transaction.
8. THE CLOSING
Now that we have reached the finish line, you will close on your home at the title company. Be sure to have your ID
prepared and we suggest taking off the full day
so you can enjoy the process.
